The Costa Brava

There are a variety of beaches near to Casa Nora, ranging from tiny rocky coves to long flat stretches of golden sand.

Depending on whether you want to spend the day underwater swimming, wind surfing or exerting all your energy sunbathing, there is a beach to suit your needs. Listed below are some of the favourites, though this does not necessarily mean that they will be crowded. Alot depends on the time of the year.


Pals Beach

Pals beach is a long, flat and sandy beach close to Casa Nora. Ideal for sunbathing, swimming and wind surfing.

Sa Riera

Sa Riera is very close to Pals beach, in fact, you can walk from Pals beach to Sa Riera. It does, however, mean crossing Playa Nudista.

Aigublava

A beautiful cove at the end of a winding road through a hillside of pine trees and villas.

Tamariu

Tamariu is a pretty fishing village. Small cafes and shops on a broad promenade surround a beautiful beach. Tamariu has its own scuba diving school.

Llafranc

Llafranc is a pretty resort with an attractive promenade of restaurants and cafes surrounding a safe sandy beach.

Calella de Palafrugell

This small fishing village sits in small secluded beach cove. Calella de Palafrugell is stunningly beautiful and charming, and is home to excellent fish restaurants. Visits to this cove makes a most enjoyable day or evening out.
